Where these dates come from.
Every obligation here is one SimpliStrata already tracks for NSW schemes, with the official source linked on the row. We have left out anything we could not tie to a published rule — smoke alarm servicing, insurance valuation cadence and work health and safety duties are each probably real, and none of them gets a confident date from us until it is checked.
The dates are read from published cycles: twelve months for the annual general meeting, three months after it for the Strata Hub report, five years for the capital works fund plan. Which duties apply depends on your scheme and building. Two-lot schemes are exempt from annual Strata Hub reporting from 1 October 2026; select that in the tool. Check the official source for each item.
Turn the dates into a shared plan.
SimpliStrata is an online platform for owner-led strata. Use this calendar without signing up, then decide whether your committee would benefit from shared tasks and records. Our annual planning guide explains how to assign the work and keep evidence of completion.

A few useful details.
I do not know any of these dates. Is that bad?
It is common, and it is worth knowing. In a managed scheme the agent holds the records, and most owners have never seen them. Leave the dates blank and the tool turns them into a list of documents to ask for — the minutes, the certificate of currency, the fire safety statement, the 10-year plan. You are entitled to see all of them.
Does the 10-year capital works plan get lodged with Strata Hub?
No. They are two different obligations and both are on this page. The plan is prepared on the prescribed NSW form, adopted by the owners corporation, kept with the scheme’s records and reviewed at least every five years. For schemes required to report, the Strata Hub annual return is due within three months after the annual general meeting, and a person lodges it in the official Hub.
What is the difference between the fire safety statement and the servicing?
The servicing maintains the equipment; the statement certifies it. Routine inspection and testing to AS 1851-2012 became enforceable on 13 February 2026 and runs on its own cycle, which NSW says starts at commencement regardless of the age of the building. The Annual Fire Safety Statement is issued by an accredited practitioner and lodged with council and Fire and Rescue NSW. A building can be up to date on one and behind on the other.
What is in the calendar file?
One all-day entry per dated obligation, each carrying the next step, who it usually falls to, and the official source. Each has a reminder set at its own lead time rather than a generic week: six months before a capital works review, three before a fire safety statement, six weeks before the Strata Hub report. It is a standard .ics, so Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook all take it.
What happens to the dates I enter?
Your progress is saved in this browser. When you request your pack, we receive your email, answers and any optional building or contact details so we can prepare and email the results. The optional address lookup sends the address you type to NSW StrataHub to find matching buildings and strata plans. Marketing updates are a separate, unticked box. Read about privacy.
